James Vaughan was born in 1955 and grew-up in an idyllic Ohio small town. His father was head of research for a major corporation and his mother was an artist and poet. After studying history and politics he gained a degree in photography and worked in the Chicago advertising industry for three decades. Now he has returned to his small town roots where he maintains studio facilities and does illustrative work for clients around the world.
